Milestones - Brooklyn has had a lot of first's this last week...

#1 She got her first tooth! I was hoping this picture would show it but it's still too small to see. I should have taken a picture of her screaming beacause she did a lot of that until it finally broke through the gums.

#2 She started crawling yesterday! She's been doing the roll and/or scoot thing for a while now but she finally figured out how to move her arms and legs without flopping on her face. Though it is harding on the wood floor instead of carpet. This exciting but I've also been dreading this. Here comes the baby gates and child proof cubboards! Babies are expensive!

P.S. I was having fun dressing her up in her tutu. I'm honestly surprised she let me do it. I know I'm silly, but it's so darn cute!

#3 We were packing light on our vacation so we didn't take the baby bath ramp so Brooklyn just sat up in the tub for her bath. She really loves that she can now play with toys in the bath and there is lots of splashing going on. Thanks Randi for our frog toy holder we finally get to use!

San Fransisco

We had a lot of fun in San Fran this last week. We did all the tourist stuff like Alkatraz, aquariums, museums, all the awesome shopping (like the 3 story old navy that I loved!), chinatown and fisherman's wharf. My favorite thing we did was biking across the Golden Gate Bridge into Sausilito. Once you get out of the busy tourist area, it really is a pretty area with such great veiws. Brooklyn was tramatized by the bike rental people trying to put an oversized bike helmet on her but she was good for the bike ride as soon as we took the helmet off and as long as we kept peddling. Shay and Jimmy rented a tandem bike aka "the Dr. Phil bike" and one of the seats ended up snapping off so they weren't able to ride as far as they wanted. Sorry guys! But we loved having them there with us. They have always been such great friends! We also loved having Brooklyn there, but I don't think she enjoyed it like we did and she was definately sick of riding in her stroll by the time we came home. Next time we're leaving her home. All our pictures ended up being grainy because we didn't have the camera on the right setting so hopefully Shay got some good ones we can copy ( hint hint). But all in all it was a great trip and can't wait till the next one.
