Happy Birthday To Me!
Today I turned 25! (That's one of those ages you never thought you'd reach.) Mark, Brooklyn and I took a picnic went up Little Cottonwood to Silver Lake and walked around the boardwalk. It was so pretty up there! The colors of the changing leaves are beautiful and the temperature is perfect! There were even girls getting their bridals done. We live so close to these canyons, I really need to take moer advantage of them! It was a really fun night.
Animals We Saw Up The Canyon
We saw a male and female moose together right off the side of the road. We didn't have time to change our camera's setting to nighttime because cars were coming behind us so unfortunately the pictures aren't clear, but they were very cool to see. We also saw a few Blue Jays (my favorite bird) and some chipmunks.
New Baby Cousin!
Megan Andrea Ogden is finnaly here! Born exactly on her due date 9/28/08, 7 lbs. 15 oz., 18.5 inches. Can you believe all that brown hair? Melissa said "If I hadn't seen her come out of me I would have told them they brought me the wrong baby!" I'm excited Brooklyn has cousins close to her same age. Brooklyn had gone to her 2 mo. doctor appointment the morning these pictures were taken and she is now 11 lbs and 24 inches. How fast she has changed! Megan looked so tiny next to her, though the little pink outfit is decieving because it's hard to tell in the pictures how small she actually is.
Laugh Out Loud!
This may be a picture only a mother can love, but this was the first day Brooklyn laughed and I happened to have my camera handy. She really is a happy little girl. I love it!
Boppy, Boppy, Boppy
I'm lucky I have a baby that doesn't mind spending time in her crib. I recently discovered that Brooklyn can sit in the Boppy and then because she's more upright she's able to look around her room better or see me doing my hair/make-up across the hall in the bathroom. It's a life saver!

Happy Girl!
Brooklyn can now smile on purpose and she loves it when you talk to her. She tries so hard to talk back, it's very cute. This is a picture of her smiling and talking to her Grandma Ogden. Brooklyn loves to spend Wednesday through Friday with Grandma and Grandpa now that I've gone back to work. I miss her but I know she's happy, and here's proof!
P.S. Brooklyn is 8 weeks old today and we need to celebrate because she slept through the night last night from 10 PM to 6 AM. Yeah for that!
