Beautiful babes!
On Monday I got together with Kate and Anika for lunch to catch up and to see their new arrivals (six days apart)! Both babies are so sweet and so cute. Peyton looks like a mini version of Kate with her long skinney everything right down to her toes and Aiden looks just like his daddy. They grow and change so fast, Brooklyn looks like a giant next to them! Poor Anika had to endure Brooklyn screaming the entire ride to Ogden because I couldn't find her binkie and she did not want to be in her carseat. Sorry Anika! Sweet little Aiden sleep through the entire thing. I swear, Anika you are the only one who has heard her cry like that because she normally is such a good, happy baby. Good thing she was sleepy for the ride home! I loved hanging out with you guys and we need to do it more often!
Yum Yum
Brookie loves her high chair (thanks so much Shay and Janet!) and she starts flapping her arms in anticipation as soon as she's sat in it. We've been trying lots of new foods/flavors with Brooklyn and she makes the funniest faces as she eats. I really should pull out the video camera because the pictures just don't do it justice for how funny it really is.
What a big girl!
Brooklyn learned to sit up on her own about a month ago and she (and I) have totally love it! She is quite content to sit and play by herself. Her favorite "toys" are books and she always picks them over anything else that's in front of her. She even babbles and turns the pages. It's so cute! I hope that she always loves reading.

All this for $6.80. Not Joking!

So, I've been getting the Sunday paper, saving the coupon booklets and using the wesite grocerysmarts.com. Though it is a bit embarassing to admit to this and even more embarassing to hand over the giant stack of coupns to the cashier, I quickly get over it when my total goes from almost $200 to $6.80. The picture really does do it justice because there is so much stuff thereb you can't even see it all. Honestly, I really don't have room for all these groceries but I'm trying to save money and start a food storage because I don't think that the whole money crisis our country is in is going to get any better. If anybody else is interested you can follow the link on my blog for the blog "A Sweet Sale," the girl whose blog that is teaches classes about how to use coupons.
